What was your first job in the realty industry? Licensed real estate agent since 1996.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? My husband and I own a boat so spend many hours (with cell phones in tow) out on Clear Lake admiring the beautiful waterfront community we’re a part of!
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Huntington Station, Long Island, but moved to Houston in 1973.
Growing up, what did you want to be? A flight attendant so that I could travel for free!
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Jesus. I would love to just sit and listen to his story and to be able to ask him questions only he could answer.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? With my husband on our boat.
What do you love most about the industry? The process from an accepted offer to closing.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I think there’s so many wonderful agents in the industry. I listen to my clients and have patience when they pass up a home that I believe they should buy!
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Working when I might have other personal plans.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I’ve met new clients mostly through my past or current clients.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? My two children!
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Shawshank Redemption.
What is your favorite restaurant? Opus in Clear Lake Shores. Consistently delicious and fresh — wonderful, friendly owners and wait staff who remember you on each visit.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? Transco Tower
What kind of car do you drive? Mazda SUV.
Smartphone or paper? Both.
What is your favorite city after Houston? Santa Barbara, Calif., because it’s so beautiful!
What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Work at getting listings, which will also get you buyers.
