Agent Snapshot: Nazario Trujillo, Realtor, SIS Group, The Woodlands

Navario-Trujillo

Nazario Trujillo is a Realtor with SIS Group working in Spring, The Woodlands and North Houston.

What was your first job in the realty industry? Realtor for a start up company in Los Angeles, Calif. back in 2004-2005

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Watch some T.V. or just drive with no destination.

Where did you grow up? Between Guadalajara, Mexico and Los Angeles.

Growing up, what did you want to be? A medical doctor or an attorney.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Jesus Christ, because He is the most talked about person in the world, whether you believe in him or not – for me and family, we believe in Him.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? At home with the family.

What do you love most about the industry? Since I tend to do mostly short sales representing sellers, the feeling of having assisted someone get out of a situation that they could no longer afford is very satisfying.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I tend to follow through with the most minimum details of each transaction. I also try to go beyond what is expected in order to get a positive outcome for everybody involved in the transaction.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Again, since a lot of my business involves short sale transactions, sometimes it can be difficult dealing with other “industry professionals” that don’t necessarily know how the short sale process works. And I’m not referring in particular to other brokers/Realtors, but to the same agents working on behalf of the lien holders.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Realtor events, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and community events.

What has been you greatest accomplishment? Knowing God!

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The film God’s Not Dead.

What is your favorite restaurant? The little Red “Lunch Truck” on Aldine Westfield and FM-1960 for their tacos.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? Wells Fargo Plaza.

What kind of car do you drive? GMC Acadia.

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Houston? Los Angeles.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Be honest and keep to your word all the time.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? HAR App.
