Robin Neugebauer is a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Northeast working in Humble.

What was your first job in the realty industry? I was the buyer’s agent for a short sale.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I enjoy shopping, volunteering at my kids’ school in Huffman, Texas ISD and a boat ride on Lake Houston.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Deer Park, Texas. I lived in DP for 38 years before moving to Huffman.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be an actress/movie star. Even though I did not become a Hollywood star, I am a star to my husband and kids.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Princess Diana. She seemed to be down to earth and a well put together, classy lady. She was a great mom and role model to her boys. And she did great things for people who couldn’t do things for themselves.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? I truly love shopping, so I love hanging at the Galleria Mall.

What do you love most about the industry? I truly love helping people achieve the American Dream. I don’t even consider the commission amount when working with buyers. It truly is about them and their dreams. I love my job!

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I am a new agent, one that stays educated with training, classes and seminars. I ask top agents lots of questions. I strive to stand out with learning something new everyday, even if it is small.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Training classes at the office, vendor events, title company get togethers, lender luncheons, school functions and community events.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? I am still a new agent. But I do think closing on the short sale was a great accomplishment.

What is your favorite restaurant? I love seafood! So, probably Papas Seafood or Landry’s Seafood.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? JPMORGAN Chase Building.

What kind of car do you drive? Toyota 4 Runner.

Smartphone or paper? Both. I like using my phone but clients want to hold something in their hand.

What is your favorite city after Houston? Las Vegas!

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Lead generate daily, put everyone in database and on campaigns.
