I am new to real estate, just got my license in December. I interviewed with several independent AND name brand brokers before deciding on Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Anderson Properties. Anderson Properties has several offices placed strategically throughout the Houston area and offices in Austin and Lubbock; all of which I am welcome to work from, but I work out of the Katy, TX office. AWESOME work environment, company culture & broker support!
I am still a believer in meeting and talking to prople in person, still think that it is the best way to communicate with my sphere of influence, for msrker information I use emails and printed Neighborhood Newsletter.
I am hoping for a great 2014.
Hopefully more homes will come on the market this Spring – otherwise demand is going to drive prices up even more this year.
2013 was best year ever. And yes, due to shortage of properties and higher # of people moving here, prices in 2014 will continue to increase and multiple offers. The 10% dn buyers are not going to get the properties they want in multiple offer situations. Cash talks.
