Realtor Valerie Smith joins Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.

When not blogging about Houston real estate news or spending time with her family,  one can bet Realtor Valerie Smith will be logging hours for her new firm.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced the hiring of Smith to its Memorial office in a recent press release.

Smith, who runs her own blog, is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Great client service goes a long way in real estate, and Smith believes her past experience as a medical hospice social worker will help her provide it.

“My background has made me a very empathetic, compassionate and hard working person,” Smith said.  “It taught me the importance of personal, professional and prompt service.”

Gary Greene’s reputation persuaded Smith to join the firm, and Andrew W. Boyd, manager of the Memorial office, is glad she is on board.

“Valerie has a tremendous work ethic. She is driven to succeed and has proven her dedication to the success of her customers time and time again,” Boyd said. “We are happy to have Valerie on the team.”
