ShowingTime mobile app announces new agent-to-agent messaging feature

by Lauren Brocato

ShowingTime, the showing management and markets stats mobile app, announced the launch of its enhanced agent-to-agent messaging platform.  The new system will allow more than 950,000 real estate agents to connect through the app via texts, email and desktop.

ShowingTime is the do-it-all tool in the real estate industry. The app allows agents to schedule and confirm showings 24/7 with all the resources that a desktop provides. Showing agents can quickly request showings on your listings through the app minus the hassle of making any calls.

Statistics are available through MarketStats to compare housing trends in user-friendly charts. Agents can create live charts with market snapshots that will automatically update to your website or blog. Agents can generate ready-to-share market reports using an interactive map specified to your market area.

The app also features Leads which allows agents to manage inbound leads and equips buyers to schedule a showing from your website. The ShowingTime staff can answer calls 24/7 using your company name to reinforce your brand.

The new messaging feature makes it easy for agents to communicate while also simplifying the appointment scheduling process. Tens of millions of texts messages, emails and push notifications each month will likely be doubled with the addition of this feature. ShowingTime also plans to expand its functionality to cover other forms of correspondence besides showings.

“We’re excited to announce this major new product functionality,” ShowingTime President Michael Lane said. “We’ve been collaborating with our MLS and Association clients on their messaging needs to create this enhancement.  It is common for agents to correspond prior to scheduling a showing. With this new functionality, they will be able to do so, then immediately book showings when needed. We think this feature will be especially helpful in markets with limited inventory where offers are made as soon as the property goes “Active” in the MLS.”

The new messaging feature will begin to roll out within the next 30 days and is expected to be available to all MLS and Association clients by the end of the year.
