Despite a slight rebound last week, new listings have again decreased compared to last year.

Houston Realtors® entered 2,619 new properties into the Multiple Listing Service in the past week, a 6% drop compared to the same time period in 2021. Pending listings continue to lag behind 2021 as well, with 25.2% fewer listings going under contract in the same week in 2022.

Closings are down from 2021 for the 16th straight week, representing a 16.6% year-over-year decrease. However, attendance at showings continues to increase over 2021 attendance numbers.
