Naperville, Ill.-based Marquette Companies has announced the grand opening of The Apartments at Copper Springs, a rental complex in Houston that the company purchased and rehabbed. The ceremonial event will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 6 p.m., and will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a ribbon cutting.
In honor of the grand opening, Copper Springs is offering two months of free rent on select two-bedroom apartments on a 12- or 13-month lease.
Built by Koontz McCombs in 2003, Copper Springs is a 376-unit Class A apartment community located a 13333 West Road. There are five floor plans with one, two and three bedrooms and one to two baths, as well as 365 parking spaces for the community. Rents range from $729 to $1489 per month.
Capital improvements made to the community mainly focused on enhancements to the front entrance area and the community’s resort-style amenities including the fitness center, theater room, community clubhouse and outdoor pool. Updates were also made to the landscaping, signage and guard house at the front entrance.
Copper Springs will also be offering its “Community Life” program, a lifestyle amenity that provides social and networking opportunities for residents to help them build relationships and connect with their local neighborhood. Residents can also take advantage of Marquette’s signature We C.A.T.E.R. program, which offers convenience services such as dog walking, package delivery, help with TV mounting and picture hanging, and on-site yoga classes.
One of the key selling points of the community, according to Sloniger, is its great location in the high-growth Interstate 290 corridor in northwest Houston, offering quick and direct access to the Sam Houston Tollway and the area’s major employment base. Copper Springs is also located near a variety of retail shopping venues, such as Willowbrook Mall and Willowbrook Plaza, as well as grocery stores and restaurants, including Kroger and Foodtown.
