Chad Ray
Broker/Owner
C.R. Realty

Chad Ray has been a member of the real estate industry since graduating from the University of Houston 16 years ago, going straight from the lecture halls to RE/MAX Town & Country before becoming broker/owner of C.R Realty just a few years later in 2005. Now, along with his 23 agents, Ray works with a wide range of clients including first-time buyers, sellers and investors looking to purchase homes to lease out or to remodel and flip. He also specializes in helping first responders, police, firefighters and veterans from in and around the greater Houston area.

C.R. Realty is a family-run business. Ray’s wife, Tia Ray, is the marketing director and assists with all the agents’ needs at C.R. Realty. Ray was voted one of the best Realtors in Katy in both 2016 and 2017 through online voting and has been praised for his extensive knowledge, reliability and professionalism. “Being patient, understanding, hard-working, responsive and honest are keys to success in the real estate business,” he says. “In this day and age, clients want quick and correct responses to their questions and need to feel comfortable from beginning to end. Making my clients feel at ease throughout the process makes the whole experience better for everyone involved.”

In 2017, Ray and his team opened a new office in downtown Katy, welcoming 12 new agents into C.R. Realty just one month after Hurricane Harvey derailed their initial move-in date. Recently, they were also able to sell a property that appeared unsellable to most. “It was a highly distressed property and the seller could only come down in price so much, so we had to market it correctly to find that right buyer,” says Ray, adding that they use websites, social media, video and open houses to spread the word about new listings. His focus is on delivering excellent service to his clients, building long-lasting relationships with families who return to him for real estate services time and time again.

Ray is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, and is the treasurer for the local Homeowner Association Board. He is a member of the American Motorcycle Association and a huge motocross enthusiast. You can find Ray and his young son at one of the Houston area dirt bike tracks in their free time.
