After earning a degree in finance, David J. Sanders took a couple of finance-related jobs, but nothing held his interest like real estate. “Ultimately, I landed at the corporate office of Trendmaker Homes and started learning the business,” says Sanders, president and CEO of William David Homes. He spent his first six years in homebuilding working for the production builder before launching William David Homes.
From a service standpoint, Sanders’ eight years in the restaurant industry, especially those he spent as a restaurant manager, taught him how to work under pressure while providing customers with a high level of service. “Our clients say that we are easy to work with and work hard to deliver a high-quality product with the highest level of customer service,” Sanders says. The best compliment a client can give him is, “Thank you. We love our home!”
William David Homes builds luxury properties averaging $1.5 million within the Greater Houston area — specifically, in Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Hockley, Waller, Cypress, Katy, Memorial Villages and Friendswood, the town Sanders grew up in.
Dedicated to serving clients and investors through honesty and hard work, Sanders is a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and Custom Builders Council. From 2014 to 2019, he was honored by GHBA with Prism awards. He also has been featured in Texas Builder magazine, Home Business Journal, VoyageHouston and the Houston Chronicle.
Sanders’ team donates a portion of all profits to local and international charities. Most recently, they have worked with Camp Hope, Our Daughters’ House (where Sanders serves on the board of directors), Dan’s House of Hope and the Christmastime program “Adopt-a-Family” for GHBA.
In his off-hours, Sanders stays busy helping his wife raise their four children and assisting with the kids’ sports activities. Occasionally, he sneaks away to the gym to work out.
