In 2015, after returning to her Montgomery County hometown following a 30-year career as an executive assistant in Houston, Geneva Carpenter needed a career change. With her extensive experience in the financial sector, as well as the interpersonal and organizational skills she honed as an executive assistant, Carpenter felt that real estate was a natural career move.
Now part of a team that has earned Coldwell Banker’s prestigious President’s Club award, Carpenter specializes in properties in Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston and the surrounding counties. In addition to lakefront luxury properties, her expertise ranges from single-family homes and condos to unimproved land.
Driven by her commitment to making clients’ real estate journeys as smooth as possible, Carpenter focuses on counseling and educating clients, effortlessly guiding them through the buying and selling process. With an easygoing, no-pressure demeanor backed by responsiveness and strong communication, she is always available to answer questions and patiently explain complexities that clients may not understand.
Carpenter’s success is built on referrals and repeat client transactions. Since every client is important to her, she doesn’t mind working for years to find a client the perfect home.
Carpenter flipped her first property last year, and now she and her husband are on the hunt for their next fix-and-flip. She enjoys the outdoors with her family, including boating on the lake, soaking up the sun by their backyard pool and volunteering for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She also is active in religious organizations and the Montgomery County Fair Association.
