Two of Houston’s most respected and successful commercial real estate brokers were recognized during the 2013 NAIOP Broker of the Year Awards on February 19 at River Oaks Country Club. Sanford Criner of CBRE received the Office Broker of the Year Award, and John Nicholson of Cassidy Turley was awarded Industrial Broker of the Year. They were selected based on their exceptional professionalism, community involvement and total real estate transaction value in 2013, with an emphasis on lease transactions focused on local tenant representation.
“Broker of the Year is recognized throughout the industry as a pinnacle achievement for real estate professionals,” stated Edward Griffin, President of NAIOP Houston. “For 26 years, NAIOP Houston has selected top tier brokers for this honor so that the real estate community could express its appreciation for their contributions to the office and industrial sectors. These professionals exemplify teamwork, a determination to deliver high quality outcomes for their clients and a spirit of contribution to the real estate community, as well as the greater Houston community at large.”
Sanford Criner, who serves as executive vice president of corporate services at CBRE, has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, development and consulting.
