Simon Property Group Inc. plans to build a luxury hotel and condominium tower to replace Macy’s at the Galleria Mall.

The upcoming project will feature 220 high-end hotel rooms and between 75 and 100 luxury condominium units. The tower will be attached to the Galleria Mall, and is expected to break ground in late 2017.

“The Houston Galleria is the beacon of luxury and shopping in Houston,” said David Contis, president of Simon Malls, according to the Houston Business Journal. “People can live, work and shop, all at the epicenter of everything. This is where everyone wants to be.”
