In a strategic move that further underscores its company growth and appetite for national expansion, alternative investment and real estate development firm Creation has hired Josh Zemon as its managing principal.
Zemon will oversee all aspects of Creation’s real estate business alongside founding members David Sellers and Bob Agahi and including acquisitions, entitlement, development, construction, asset management, and capital raising. Creation’s primary focus will be to grow its industrial platform, which includes ground-up development and value-add acquisitions, throughout the southwest, Texas, Chicago and the New York metropolitan area.
“Creation is on an extraordinary growth trajectory and will continue to expand throughout the United States as opportunities are identified,” said LGE Design Build CEO David E. Sellers in a press release. “Josh is a key addition to our team, and we will certainly benefit from his proven leadership skills and national market knowledge.”
Since its founding in 2018, Creation has amassed a development pipeline of nearly $1 billion in new projects. As a sister company of LGE Design Build, a 26+ year old premier design build general contractor, Creation is uniquely set up to collaborate with architecture and construction from inception to completion under one roof.
Prior to joining Creation, Zemon spent 12 years at Walton Street Capital, most recently as a principal in the acquisitions group, where he led over $1 billion in acquisitions across the retail and industrial sectors.
Zemon graduated from the Stephen Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s in business administration degree in finance and real estate. He is a member of Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
