How do you define fun? According to WalletHub, with a specific methodology. The personal finance site analyzed each state’s party potential using 65 metrics across three categories: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties and overall costs. And Texas is high on the list.
The Lone Star State came in at No. 7 for most fun states to visit. In addition to having the highest number of movie theaters (tied with California) and restaurants (tied with California, Florida and New York) per capita, Texas also has the fourth highest number of fitness centers.
