New listings and pending listings have surpassed 2022 volumes for the first time in weeks, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors entered 3,283 new listings into the Multiple Listing Service during the week ended July 3. That’s 4.2% higher than the amount entered during the same week in 2022. Additionally, pending listings are up by 10.1% year over year.

Meanwhile, closings still lag behind 2022 levels. In total, 2,448 homes were sold during the week, up from 2,549 last year.
