The Howard Hughes Corporation announced the grand opening of Longwing Landing, a four-plus-acre recreational area in the Bridgeland neighborhood Prairieland Village. This activity area is the third of four planned recreational sites inside the master-planned community.
“The completion of Longwing Landing is an exciting milestone moment for Prairieland Village as we add yet another exceptional community amenity that Bridgeland residents will enjoy for generations to come,” said Steve Sams, senior vice president of MPC Residential for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “Bridgeland’s beautiful, natural setting is one of many defining attributes that contribute to the outstanding quality of life that makes this master-planned community such an attractive place to live.”
Inside Longwing Landing, residents will find an event room big enough for 150 guests, two flex rooms for classes and activities, a prep kitchen and two pools — a lap pool and a butterfly-shaped pool for children. The area also contains pavilions available for party and event rental.
