Dana Hamilton was appointed to the board of directors for Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. A veteran C-suite executive, Hamilton previously worked as senior managing director and head of real estate at Pretium, where she also chaired the company’s real estate investment committee.
“Dana’s senior leadership experience building large businesses in the apartment and single-family rental industries brings a valuable asset to Howard Hughes as the company continues to expand within these market sectors to meet the growing demand for housing solutions,” Scot Sellers, chairman of the board of Howard Hughes, said in a press release. “With her proven track record of innovation and value creation, Dana is an excellent addition to the HH board.”
Hamilton has a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration in real estate from the University of California at Berkeley. She’s also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Presidents’ Program and recently joined the board of directors at Opendoor.
