Pending listings surpassed 2023 volumes in Houston during the week ended June 17, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR).

Pending listings increased by 1.3% year over year, with 2,400 homes going under contract, compared to 2,369 during the same week in 2023. Closings, however, declined by 0.8% year over year.

Meanwhile, new listings continued their trend of towering over year-ago levels. Realtors entered 4,117 properties into the MLS during the week, a 32% annual increase. Listing views on HAR.com also remained above 2023 volumes, increasing by 28.1% year over year.
