New listings in Houston during the week ended Oct. 28 climbed 14.6% on an annual basis, according to the latest Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR).

Agents added 3,096 properties to the MLS, up from 2,701 properties during the same week in 2023. Pending listings, or houses that went under contract, rose 5.8% to 1,834 from 1,733.

Closed home sales increased 4.7% year over year to 1,587 from 1,516 a year earlier.

Listing views on HAR.com gained 13.6% to 8,189,987, while showings were up 5.7%, at 31,436.
