New listings rose 18% in Houston during the week ended Jan. 20, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors added 3,167 properties to the MLS, up from 2,684 properties during the same week in 2023.

Pending and closed listings, meanwhile, both declined. Pending lists dropped 13%, with 1,701 listings going under contract, while closings fell 5.1%, with 1,072 homes sold.
