From her start as an unlicensed assistant to becoming a top-performing agent, Sandy Petermann-Williams has carved a niche for herself in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. Her foray into real estate was sparked by a chance conversation with the Realtor who listed her first home in The Woodlands. “I showed such interest in the industry,” she recalls, “that he encouraged me to learn more about the profession, and I haven’t looked back since.” Living and working in The Woodlands area for more than two decades, she believes her intimate knowledge of the local market sets her apart from her competition.
For Petermann-Williams, real estate is about building lasting relationships. Her clients attest to her trustworthiness, reliability, consistent communication and thorough service. As one client puts it, “Y’all want Sandy’s opinion!” She takes a hands-on approach, too, assuring,,“If a client calls my number, they are going to get Sandy.”
During more than 18 years in the business, Petermann-Williams has received numerous accolades, including the Top 500 RE/MAX of Texas Agent designation for 2023, the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 and the Five-Star Professional Award from Texas Monthly for 13 consecutive years. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is involved in philanthropy and volunteer work. She served eight years with Court Appointed Special Advocates of Montgomery County, including a stint as board chair, and continues to support the community through the Montgomery County Women’s Center.
For Petermann-Williams, professionalism, integrity and accountability are the cornerstones of success in real estate. “Building a successful career in real estate requires more than just making sales,” she says. “It requires a focus on excellence, from the biggest factors to the smallest details. People notice when you conduct yourself this way, and they want to do business with someone who consistently exhibits these qualities.”
