Prudential Gary Greene Gives Back

by Houston Agent

Prudential Gray Greene was the number one contributor to the Sunshine Kids in 2011.

Prudential Gary Greene Realtors were honored at the Prudential Real Estate Services national convention in Orlando, Fl., with the Prudential Networks award for being the top contributors to the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Over the course of 2011, the firm contributed over $318,000 to the charity. Prudential Gary Greene has been working with since 1992, and since then, has given almost $3 million.

The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit foundation that raises money to organize trips and outings for children with cancer across the United States and Canada. G.W. Bailey, executive director of The Sunshine Kids Foundation, says he is grateful for Prudential Gary Greene’s continued efforts and support.

“Every year, The Sunshine Kids Foundation provides national, one-week activities, free of charge for young cancer patients from across the country,” said Bailey. “With the trips we provide, these cancer patients have the opportunity to meet other kids who have gone through the same painful treatments and feelings of isolation that they have experienced.

“I cannot say enough about what the Prudential Gary Greene team has done for the Kids,” continued Bailey. “They have made it possible for us to create more activities for more kids with cancer – not only in Houston but all across the U.S. and Canada. They have had an enormous, incalculable impact on our operations.”

Mary Eiland, partner at Prudential Gary Greene, says that the contributions of the firm are truly a team effort. “Many of our agents donate a portion of their sales commission to the Sunshine Kids, and some of our area offices hold their own fundraisers for the Kids. Everyone here is committed to this cause,” she said.
