What do you love most about the industry?
The people. I’m really passionate about not just the clients, but the other Realtors as well; there’s always a story.

By listening to my clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The appraisals.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Every place I go is where I network. If you’re interacting with someone, you have a chance to network.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My son joining my business.

Bernie.
What is your favorite restaurant?
I have too many friends in the industry, so it’s three: for sushi, Blue Fish House Sushi & Grille; for fresh fish and Italian, Arturo Boada Cuisine; and for seafood, Tony Mandola’s.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The Bank of America Building; my father and Philip Johnson, a renowned architect, collaborated on that building.
