I switched brokerage 18 months ago and it was the best transfer ever.
The commission starts @ 70/30 but once you cap and meet the goal of 18000.00 in commission for the brokerage everything else is 100%. this is an annual goal. therefore you must meet the 18000.00 every year. a very attainable goal.
I have my own personal web-site and have my own line of referrals. Therefore, I get a larger cut of my commission. Although, I would love additional, great leads.
Many of these questions are not applicable because I am a broker-owner and do not receive Houston Agent magazine (don’t have time to read magazines or eNewsletters).
My business is mostly repeat and referral. So my “marketing” is mostly with people that I already know via phone, letters, email and social media. My split goes from 70% to 100% after 2.5m in sales.
I think there should be a MIn. production requirement to keep your Lic.
Too many part timmers that do not know what they are doing and do not stay up to speed on changes. Which they are not doing a good service for their clients. If the client only knew what was going on behind the scene.
interesting survey….

Thanks for including me in the survey.

Interesting survey.
I have been a Realtor 20 years and I still love what I do!
I find this website helpful.
Good questions.
The bussiness has changed dramatically in 41 years.

Questions should be asked about the number of closings. How many hours a week do you do real estate? part time versus full time.
Never leave as long as I have the same manager—If she leaves,,, I might also!!
Interesting survey!

Face to face networking.
Thanks!
I’d be interested in seeing the results of the survey when compiled.
I don’t have a comment to make, you ask me to take a survey..,what kind of comment are you looking for? ridiculous you HAVE to leave a comment.
Hi David,
No one needs to leave a comment, only if you so choose to. So…you didn’t need to comment at all – just fill out the required questions next time!
Still in the setup process for my brokage

No particular comment. Interesting questionnaire.

I may look for a different broker who does more advertising.
I love where I work.

N/A
Not a subscriber and really not that familiar with publication.
I feel that between admin, relo and the broker split; the person doing almost all the work gets paid the least!
Thank you for the opportunity to take the survey.
Houston Agent questions were answered b/c they were required, but I do not read Houston Agent in print or online.
Relocation companys are getting larger and so are their bites into commissions.
Thanks for asking
Interesting survey
