Residential construction in Houston maintained its towering stature in November, with construction in the Bayou City topping $591 million, according to the latest analysis from McGraw Hill Construction; excluding New York City, that’s the highest level of construction in the nation.

And we recently reported, Houston is not alone – residential construction in the U.S. has been doing quite well in recent months. How well? Try this: in November, construction spending vaulted to its highest mark in more than four years, and was up almost 25 percent year-over-year.
