Texas-based real estate developer Wood Partners broke ground on its latest luxury multifamily community this week. Alta Cypress Springs is expected to open for leasing in August 2023.

Located northwest of Downtown on Fry Road, Alta Cypress Springs is in close proximity to a variety of shopping, food and entertainment options as well as multiple parks and other recreational spaces. The community falls under the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School district.

“Wood Parners is excited to break ground on Alta Cypress Springs, which will serve as the perfect community for young professionals and families in the west Houston area,” said Bart Barrett, managing director at Wood Partners. “It’s a great addition to our Houston portfolio as we grow in response to the needs of the southeast Texas market.”

Alta Cypress Springs was designed by Texas architectural firm Design Balance and will feature 330 apartment units with one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. On-site amenities will include a pool, dog park, fitness center, conference room and a multitude of common areas.
