Meritage Homes has purchased a parcel of land in the small Texas community of Crosby with plans to build Sundance Cove, a 1,000-home development.

Located just off Highway 90, the community is just minutes from Lake Houston and lake-life recreation and will fall under the Crosby Independent School District.

Meritage is offering 24 floor plans across three series: Traditional, Premier and Classic. Homes in the Traditional Series start from the low $200,000s, while homes in the Premier Series start in the mid-$200,000s. Homes in the Classic Series start in the high $200,000s.

Future community amenities include nature trails, a swimming pool and splash pad, a playground, pocket parks and a recreation center.
