New listings surpassed 2022 volumes by 21.6% during the week ended Nov. 27, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®. That’s an increase of approximately 300 properties.

Closings also increased during the week, with 1,089 homes sold compared to 1,072 during the same week in 2022. That’s an increase of 1.6%. Pending listings, however, fell 7.1%.

While listings views on HAR.com declined year over year, traffic at showings increased by 7%, a sign of strong consumer demand as we head into the new year.
