Cypress Green, a master-planned community in Hockley, is offering a $10,000 discount to firefighters, EMTs, teachers, police officers and active-duty military personnel who purchase a home during the month of March.

The developer, Starwood Land, says its “hometown heroes” discount is aimed at making homeownership a little more attainable for “those charged with making communities a better place.”

“We believe our hometown heroes deserve to live in a place that reflects the importance of their roles,” John Brian, COO of Starwood Land, said in a press release. “Whether it’s firefighters and EMTs racing to emergencies, teachers shaping the minds of tomorrow, police officers keeping our streets safe or military personnel defending our freedoms, each of these professionals is crucial to our community’s wellbeing.”

Adams Homes, Brightland Homes, CastleRock Communities, Colina Homes, D.R. Horton, Long Lake Ltd. and Lennar are currently selling homes in Cypress Green. Pricing begins in the mid-$200,000s.
