First America Homes, the homebuilding division of The Signorelli Company, named John Winniford its new president. Winniford departs Brightland Homes after serving as CEO and president for over a decade.

In his new role, Winniford will focus on the homebuilder’s expansion into the Dallas market.

“John’s proven leadership will play a key role in shaping not only the day-to-day operations, but also the future of First America Homes,” Signorelli Company CFO Harry Dinham said in a press release. “We’re excited to have John on board and confident his broad expertise will help to fuel our continued growth as one of Texas’ most trusted homebuilders.”

Winniford delivered 22,000 homes during his tenure with Brightland, also leading expansion efforts in Colorado, Florida and Tennessee.
