The Howard Hughes Corporation has broke ground on its newest multifamily residence, Starling at Bridgeland.
At the center of the fast-growing northwest sector of the Greater Houston area, the for-lease apartment project is set on 15.2-acres at the intersection of Bridgeland Creek Parkway and Bridgeland High School Drive in Parkland Village in Bridgeland. The 350,000-square-foot project will offer 358 residences with one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
“We are looking forward to Starling at Bridgeland, along with its fantastic amenities, access to outdoor recreation, and proximity to top rated schools,” said Heath Melton, executive vice president of master planned communities, in a press release. “This project represents our goal to offer a quality lifestyle with access to open green space as well as urban features such as retail businesses and restaurants.”
Starling at Bridgeland will be the first multifamily property in Bridgeland Central, the approximately 900-acre future urban core of the community which will intersect Bridgeland along Grand Parkway. The project is the second multifamily residence constructed by The Howard Hughes Corporation in Bridgeland, following the success of Lakeside Row The Residences.
Short-term leases will be made available to accommodate those who are building homes within Bridgeland; long-term leases will be available for young adults, empty nesters, and anyone seeking a low maintenance option for active living.
“As one of the few luxury leasing options in the Cypress area, Starling at Bridgeland will help address the fast growth of the area,” added Jim Carman, president, Houston region for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “The project will provide those looking for a home within the fastest growing master planned community in Texas another residence option.”
Construction of Starling is expected to be completed by summer 2022.
