Samantha Bowers joined the real estate industry 11 years ago and since then, has fully embraced everything the field has to offer. A Realtor with JLA Realty, Bowers is a highly-motivated and friendly real estate professional who lists and sells properties in New Caney and the surrounding communities. Bowers specializes in all facets of the real estate business, whether it be navigating the way for first-time home buyers, or helping seasoned homeowner that may be leaving their home after many years and many memories. She has immense compassion and dedication in making sure her clients experience is one they will never forget. She knows she’s doing so by the many referrals she receives from her past clients.
“From the word go, I loved the aspects real estate brings to your everyday,” says Bowers. “No two days are the same, no two families are the same, and each situation requires the ability to assess what will work best for each family’s needs.” Being a mother of three has given her the ability to combine her inventiveness and resourcefulness in being a better agent able to juggle the many tasks and everyday obstacles a transaction may present.
Prior to joining JLA Realty, Bowers began her real estate career as an assistant with the listing agent she had hired to sell her own property. Within the year she earned her license, and became a buyer’s agent on the top-producing Brewer Team of RE/MAX Westside before transitioning into the role of Agent Services Manager at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. While there, she trained agents in how to market houses and use the systems and platforms needed to be a successful realtor. She has implemented these skills in her own business to elevate the level of service her clients experience.
Bowers credits her trusted network of business partners who work closely with her to ensure each step of the transaction goes smoothly. “So much of real estate is about customer service and the bond we create with our clients,” she says. “No matter what the clients’ goals are – whether they are buyers, investors, renters or sellers – I am right there beside them. I make sure I understand their needs and desires – crunching the numbers, meeting with contractors and negotiating the best deal possible.”
Bowers is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Houston Association of Realtors, the National Association of Professional Women, and is Secretary on the board of Cumberland Crossing Homeowners Association where she gets to implement her creative spirit through heading up and planning all the community events.
This year, she partnered with several other entrepreneurs, including her JLA Realty broker John Altic and fellow Realtors James Hargrove and Beau Kidd to help launch Hustle City USA, a local podcast that highlights local entrepreneurs. She also volunteered her time to assist clients affected by Hurricane Harvey with cleanup and with finding new temporary or permanent home solutions.
Along with being a Realtor, Bowers is a freelance web designer and graphic artist, as well as an avid mom blogger.
