Sam and Clarissa Michaels’ mission is to put compassion first in their business. The husband-and-wife team behind the newly founded C & S Premier Realty serves a broad spectrum of buyers and sellers within the Houston area, ranging from firsttimers to repeat customers. “Whatever the client is in need of, we try and go above and beyond for them,” Sam says. “We truly try to treat every client — whether renting, buying or selling — with the same respect and service.”

Prior to entering real estate five-anda- half years ago, Clarissa worked as an assistant at a title company while Sam served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantry machine gunner. “Once I started on the path to obtaining my license, Sam returned home from the military and I convinced him to join me on this adventure,” Clarissa explains. Now Sam serves as the managing broker, and Clarissa is the lead sales agent at the new firm.

As the parents of a toddler and an infant, the Michaelses are seasoned multitaskers, collaborating in business and at home in order to maintain consistent customer service. “We work well as a team,” Sam says. “While some spouses have a hard time working together, we’ve thrived in each of us having distinct roles in our business.” Sam and Clarissa are both Realtors, and Sam is a member of REBAC and MRP.

In her spare time, Clarissa is the cocoordinator of her church’s chapter of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, which helps consumers become better managers of their money. “Helping people become financially aware has become a passion of mine,” she says. In addition to helping people advocate for themselves financially, Clarissa volunteers with animal rescue organizations. “I have a passion for helping those who can’t help themselves.”
