Chris Kelso is a seasoned mortgage professional with 24 years of experience, driven by a passion for education and building lasting client relationships. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, where he resided for over 20 years, Kelso brings a global perspective to his work in Houston.
Kelso’s career began in IT and business development, with roles in sales and distribution at industry leaders such as Alliance Data Corp, Hewlett Packard, Computer Associates and MYDSA. This diverse foundation has shaped his client-focused approach in the mortgage industry.
A man of integrity, Kelso lives by the principle: “Do the right thing every time, even when no one is looking.”
Kelso does whatever it takes to secure clients the best rate and close deals in record time. “We are more than a mortgage company, we are a professional family that gives other families advice on obtaining their dream home through sound home financing options,” Kelso says. “You know the home you want. We make it happen.”
Additionally, he’s at each client’s side during closing to answer any last-minute questions and congratulate them on their purchase.
Kelso is co-founder and co-host of the “Real Estate Rat Pack Show,” a radio and podcast series dedicated to real estate education, which has been on air for more than 12 years.
Kelso graduated from St. Edwards University with a BBA in management and marketing and was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma. To give back to the community, he volunteers with two non-profits dedicated to children: It’s My Heart and Sunshine Kids Foundation, as well as the DePelchin Children’s Center. An avid sports enthusiast, Kelso spends his weekends with his wife and two children—one a student at the University of Arizona and the other a starting wide receiver / running back at Tompkins High School.
