Where did you grow up? West Columbia, Texas

What was your most interesting job before going into lending? Event designer and florist

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Exercise or chill with friends

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Bill Gates! He is such an intelligent, giving and interesting person. I appreciate the way he has dedicated his life and most of his money to helping others.

 What do you love most about the industry? I love that I have the opportunity to meet and help people from all nationalities qualify for and purchase a home.

 What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Timelines

 What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? Selling Sunset. I am a sucker for a reality, high-dollar real-estate show. Anything real estate-related — I am in.

What’s your favorite meal in Houston? Mexican Food, hands down — fajitas, guac, chips and a margarita. Does not get better than that.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? The Menil Collection building. I like the straight lines and simplicity.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? Someone thought I was famous and asked for my autograph.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I lived on a sailboat for two years and almost sailed around the world.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? French Polynesia. The beauty is unbelievable!

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the lending industry? Don’t be afraid of rejection. Put yourself out there.
