Homebuilder Ashton Woods opened two of its newest communities in the Houston area this month with model homes in each, according to a news release.
The Sunterra community is near Katy, and the Marvida community is in Cypress.
“Sunterra and Marvida both offer great locations and wonderful amenities for those looking to relocate to the Houston area,” Shawnda Lancaster, vice president for sales for Ashton Woods Houston, said in the news release. “Houston continues to see healthy move-in rates thanks to a growing job market, lower taxes and affordable housing.”
Sunterra is near I-10 and The Grand Parkway. Homes are priced from $334,000 to $402,000, according to the Ashton Woods website. Floorplans range from three bedrooms at 1,700 square feet to four bedrooms at 2,400 square feet. The community will include a 3.5-acre Crystal Lagoons amenity with pool, splash pad, clubhouse, fitness center, sand volleyball and walking trails.
Marvida, off Highway 99 and Westpark Tollway in Cypress, offers seven floorplans from a three-bedroom, 1,700-square-foot layout to a four-bed, three-bath option at 2,800 square feet. Homes are priced from $338,000 to $407,000. The community will offer a number of recreational options, including pool, lazy river, tennis courts, pavilion, playground and walking trails.
“These communities open up over 150 lots to potential homeowners, all with easy access to major highways and highly-rated schools, making them ideal locations for growing families and those looking for connected living,” Lancaster said.
Ashton Woods is one of the nation’s largest private homebuilding companies and has received numerous awards for its work.
