ERA Legacy Living announces merger, expansion

by Lindsey Wells

ERA Legacy Living of Houston recently announced that it has merged with ERA Benes Realty, a Sugar Land-based brokerage founded in 2000.

The combined company, which will retrain the ERA Legacy Living name, now has nearly 70 agents. According to a press release, Joe Benes will remain with the company as the vice president of commercial and land acquisition.

“We are delighted to join forces with Jemila and Patrick and all the great agents at ERA Legacy Living,” said Benes. “This merger allows us to be a part of an exciting and growing company here in our community and at the same time remain connected to the ERA programs, features, training and culture, as well as to the great owners and brokers of the ERA franchise system.”

Headquartered in Richmond, Texas, ERA Legacy Living was founded in 2016 by Jemila and Patrick Winsey.

“We are excited to join forces with Joe Benes and the entire ERA Benes family,” said Jemila Winsey. “This move further strengthens our company position in our marketplace. Joe Benes brings along with him years of service to our growing think tank to help propel our agents forward.”
