Coldwell Banker CEO replaced amid parent-co shakeup

by John Yellig

Coldwell Banker CEO M. Ryan Gorman has been replaced by Sue Yannaccone, CEO of Anywhere Brands, and moved into a strategic-advisor role.

The shakeup comes as the companies’ parent, Anywhere Real Estate Inc., formerly known as Realogy Holdings Corp., pursues a strategic simplification of its brands, which include Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, CENTURY 21, Corcoran, ERA and Sotheby’s International Realty.

Anywhere is also replacing Katrina Helmkamp, president and CEO of its Cartus relocation business, with Don Casey, president and CEO of Anywhere Integrated Services, which oversees title and settlement services, insurance and mortgage and underwriter joint-ventures.

“We believe having a singular leader for our core real estate brokerage business and likewise, for the real estate transaction services we provide, will help Anywhere move even faster, create more value for our customers and ultimately, deliver a better experience for both affiliated agents and consumers,” Anywhere President and CEO Ryan Schneider said in a press release.
