Shea Homes has decided on a name for its fourth self-developed Houston-area community: Wildtree.
“Certainly, the topography of the community served as an inspiration as we carefully considered a variety of choices over the past six months,” said Keith Luechtefeld, Houston division president at Shea Homes. “We wanted a community name that evokes a sense of freedom and discovery and portrays the community as a place where residents can explore and find their inner child.”
Located in Montgomery County, Wildtree spans 430 acres among densely forested areas. Construction is expected to begin later this year. Upon completion, the master-planned community will be home to approximately 1,000 single-family residential properties on lots ranging in size from 40-feet to 70-feet.
Wildtree joins Shea Homes’ two existing self-developed Houston-area communities — Manvel’s Del Bello Lakes and Evergreen in Conroe — as well as Woodhavyn, which is currently under development.
