The newest master-planned community from Shea Homes will have its grand opening on April 15. Prospective buyers and agents can visit Evergreen, located in Conroe near the intersection of FM 242 and FM 1314, to tour eight model homes and participate in family-friendly activities. Open house hours commence at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the remainder of the month.

The grand opening is free to the public. Open house visitors can also enter a drawing to win $5,000, courtesy of Shea Homes, by scanning QR codes in the model homes.

On April 22, builders for the master-planned community will have additional treats for prospective buyers and agents. At models from the builder Perry Homes, guests can participate in a make-your-own-birdhouse craft or stop for popsicles and slushies, s’mores, espresso, cotton candy and lemonade. They will also be hosting a free succulent shop.

The builder Chesmar Homes has some goodies planned as well — at one of its models, visitors can use an interactive digital photo booth, while another model will offer Coca-Colas in glass bottles with fun straws.

“We have been excited about this day since our model homes broke ground last September,” Houston Division President for Shea Homes Keith Luechtefeld said in a press statement. “All eight model homes are ready, professionally decorated and showcase what each builder has to offer. And with all of them together in a model home park, it will be easy for the public to tour each one, enjoy the activities and spend the day.”

Homes in Evergreen start at the low $300,000s. Over 2,000 homesites are planned for the community, as well as 100 acres of green space, parks and amenities.

“We’ve had tremendous interest already,” Luechtefeld said. “Home sales started before model homes had even opened and nearly 300 Realtors RSVP’d to attend a special sneak peek we had planned before the public grand opening.”
