Focusing on luxury, relocation and international clients, Shian Munro has lived in multiple countries as an expat, giving her a global understanding of what it means to start fresh in a new location.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Munro spent her childhood living in the Netherlands, becoming fluent in English, Welsh and Dutch. Before settling in Houston, she lived with her husband and children in Singapore, Australia and Canada. “A big part of who I am and how I work comes from my background,” she explains. “I also grew up with a father who had a disability, which helped shape my independence, resilience and strong sense of empathy.”
Today, Munro is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, representing clients in the Greater Houston and Katy luxury markets. She offers personal experience and insights to clients on building luxury homes. “What makes working with me different is my combination of a highly personal approach with a strong, strategic mindset,” she shares. “By taking the time to truly listen, explain and guide, I’m able to create a sense of trust and confidence that carries through every stage of the transaction.”
The recipient of the Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society award in 2025, Munro earned her status as a million-dollar producer and has been consistently recognized as a top agent for closed units and volume.
A former occupational therapist, Munro supports causes focused on research and treatment for Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS and dementia. Previously a board member of the Leading Ladies of Theatre Under the Stars, she continues to support the arts.
This past year, Munro proudly watched both of her children graduate from college. When she isn’t working, she spends her free time traveling, reading, trying new restaurants and enjoying music and theater.
