2026 Who's Who in Houston Real Estate

Justin G. Syfert, Senior Home Lending Advisor II CPC

JPMorganChase NMLS # 289149

Before becoming a home lending advisor, Justin Syfert started his career as a loan processor while gaining an advanced understanding of the mortgage process. “My father mentored me early in my career and was gracious enough to allow me to work with him under an internship position, which provided me with a solid foundation and understanding of the mortgage industry,” he says.

As a senior home lending advisor with JPMorganChase, Syfert has been in the industry for over 24 years. Specializing in jumbo loans, self-employed borrowers, first-time homebuyers, FHA loans and VA loans, he also recently completed a licensing program by passing the Securities Industry Essentials, Series 6, Series 63 and Insurance license exams. Given only six months to get fully licensed, he studied and passed each exam on the first attempt while still continuing to work, produce new business and maintain his position as a top-producing home lending advisor.

Having earned National Achiever status with Chase in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2020 and 2022, Syfert leads a team that includes a home lending assistant and a dedicated loan processor. “At the end of the day, as a home lending advisor, it’s important to convey a certain level of knowledge and confidence in this industry,” he says. “Being able to explain the process, while offering advice and solutions, can only come from having a well-rounded background and years of experience in home lending.”

Syfert is known to be process-driven and clear in his explanations. While being accessible to clients 24/7, he also enjoys spending time vacationing with his family, as well as watching his son play high school baseball and his daughter finish her senior year of high school as a cheerleader. He is also a very active member in his church and volunteers in various technical arts roles.
