A stranger at a conference once told Patti Lacy she’d make a great Realtor. At the time, she was a customer service manager at Kroger and knew nothing about real estate. What she did know, however, was people. After taking classes and passing her exam, she made the career leap in 2000, moving from groceries to houses without missing a beat. “I’m still in the customer service business,” she explains. “I still help people and solve problems.”
More than two decades later, Lacy serves buyers and sellers across Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, Weston Lakes and West Houston with Coldwell Banker Realty. She moved to Katy 33 years ago, raised four kids there and now watches five granddaughters grow up in the same neighborhoods that she once learned street by street for her career. That local fluency shapes every transaction, whether she is guiding first-time buyers or sellers who want seasoned guidance.
About 99% of Lacy’s business comes from referrals, which she considers the most honest measure of her work. Known for her thorough contracts, steady communication and composure in complicated moments, she stays engaged well past closing through phone calls, personal notes and client appreciation events.
In May 2025, Lacy graduated with honors from Houston City College with a degree in real estate, a milestone she reached during her biggest production year to date. RealTrends Verified recognized her in 2025, and she has earned entry into the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle, among other brokerage honors.
A board member of Katy Christian Ministries for over 16 years, Lacy currently serves as parliamentarian. She is also an ambassador for the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, she sits on the investor committee for the Katy ISD Education Foundation and teaches children at Westland Baptist Church through the AWANA ministry.
