Tommy Kanarellis grew up in Singapore and moved to Houston during high school, giving him both an international perspective and a strong connection to the local market. “My background is in sales and performance-driven environments, which translated directly into development sales,” he recounts. “I’m managing not just a buyer, but positioning, timing and deal structure.”
An agent with Redeavor Group, Kanarellis works as an associate sales director for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, where he specializes in new development condominiums throughout Houston for ultra-high-net-worth clients, luxury buyers and global clientele. “I’m not operating as a traditional agent,” he shares. “I’m aligned with the project and the long-term performance of the asset, which means that I make every recommendation with that in mind and not just to get a deal done.”
Now with 10 years of industry experience, Kanarellis started his career in Houston before moving to Aspen, Colorado. He then returned to Houston to focus on new development, which required a different level of strategy, timing and execution across an entire project. “That combination of global exposure, multiple markets and development experience shapes how I approach every deal,” he explains.
This past year, Kanarellis stepped into a leadership role at a Marquee-branded residence in Houston. “I’m trusted to handle high-stakes conversations with both buyers and ownership,” he says. “In this business, trust and positioning matter more than anything.” Known for being direct, disciplined and strategic, he appreciates real estate as one of the few industries where performance is fully exposed.
A lifetime ambassador for Texas Children’s Hospital, Kanarellis recently got married at San Ysidro Ranch. When he isn’t working, he enjoys global travel as well as endurance and strength training.
