Nominated by The Ritz-Carlton, Rachel Conkling is honored to be featured on the front cover of this year’s Houston Agent magazine. She already has clients who have secured a luxurious unit at The Ritz-Carlton in Houston, which will be completed in 2029. “It’s exciting to be a part of the construction of this project from the beginning,” she says. “Houston is going to be so lucky to welcome this incredible hotel and luxury high-rise to our city.”
A Realtor associate with Compass, Conkling grew up in Houston and currently resides in Memorial. She has been in the industry for over 15 years, representing everyone from luxury buyers to first-time homebuyers throughout Memorial, Spring Branch, Memorial West, Briargrove, Tanglewood, Briargrove Park, River Oaks, Montrose, Houston Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, Bellaire and West University Place. “I work with a wide range of clients, including investors looking for rental properties, builders needing lots or even people seeking beach houses in Galveston or lake houses in Conroe,” she reports.
Ranking among the top 10 Houston Realtors in 2025, Conkling is a Houston Business Journal award winner, has ranked among the top 25 Houston Realtors numerous times and has been consistently recognized among the top 25 Compass agents since 2017. With a largely referral-based business, she has closed over 600 transactions, totaling more than $700 million in sales volume. “It is very telling when I have four to six transactions with the same couples over and over again,” she adds.
Actively involved in her daughters’ schools, Conkling enjoys playing mahjong, squeezing in a barre workout class and walking her mini goldendoodle, Teddy. “It’s important to take care of myself so I can be 100% present for my clients,” she explains.
