2026 Who's Who in Houston Real Estate

Ed Wolff, President

Beth Wolff Realtors

Born into real estate — a fourth-generation Houstonian and son of a broker — Ed Wolff never had to look far for a career. A psychology major at Louisiana State University, he joined the family firm after college and has spent 33 years working up to president of Beth Wolff Realtors, leading 35 associates.

That background shows up daily. Most transactions hinge on a major life event — a marriage, a baby, a divorce or a loss — and Wolff’s ability to meet clients there while keeping things moving is what they mention most. Patient and deliberate, he educates buyers until they reach their own conclusions rather than pushing them toward one.

His market covers Greater Houston and Galveston, plus farm and ranch properties across Brenham, Round Top, La Grange and the Texas Hill Country. The firm’s average sales price runs more than three times the Houston metro average, though every client receives the same level of care. Memorable transactions include the sale of his family’s 200-acre ranch which was part of an original Mexican land grant to his great-great-grandmother, and a city block now home to the Toyota Center.

A past board member of the Houston Association of Realtors and Texas Association of Realtors, Wolff was named HAR’s Realtor of the Year in 2010 and earned Realtor Political Action Committee Hall of Fame recognition in 2013. He holds Certified Relocation Professional and Certified International Property Specialist designations. His community work spans Texas Children’s Hospital, Children at Risk — which named him Board Member of the Year in 2025 — Houston A+ Challenge and the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston.

He and his wife, Katy, have been together since childhood and married 26 years. They have 21-year-old twins. Wolff enjoys playing the drums and working with horses in his spare time.
