Nancy Almodovar, president and CEO of Nan and Company Properties, defines her success by helping others find their happy. She thrives in the world of luxury real estate, teaching and mentoring others and breaking stereotypes.

Almodovar launched Nan and Company Properties in 2014 from her kitchen table and, since then, the firm has filled a gap in the Houston luxury marketplace. The company has grown over 40% each year since its inception and continues to foster a rich environment of growth for agents.

Almodovar herself was recognized previously in the Houston Agents’ Choice Awards as Managing Broker of the Year in 2020 and was also named one of Houston’s Most Influential Women by Houston Women Magazine in 2022. That same year, she was honored in the 40 Under 40 class of by the Houston Business Journal. The Houston Business Journal has also named Nan and Company Properties as one of the best places to work in Houston multiple times.

Outside of work, Almodovar volunteers with several organizations, including the Houston Ballet, St. Anne Catholic School and the Houston Association of REALTORS® where she remains the chair for the Communications Advisory Board. In 2016, she launched the Nan Cares Toy Drive, an annual campaign to collect toy donations for students at Brookline Elementary.

She is also a wife and mother of two and a mentor to many young professionals coming up in the industry.
