Almodovar launched Nan and Company Properties in 2014 from her kitchen table and has since filled a gap in the Houston marketplace for premier luxury real estate services including leasing, sales and buying.

Almodovar is an alumnus of the University of Houston Bauer College of Business and continued her personal development and business education with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. Her industry expertise and growing success has garnered local and national recognition.

With a growing business experiencing resounding success, Almodovar still finds time to volunteer and give back to several organizations such as Houston Children Give Back and the Houston Ballet‘s Nutcracker Market. She launched Nan Cares Toy Drive in 2016, a campaign to collect toy donations for students at elementary schools throughout The Greater Houston area.

She is also the founder of the Janet Mireles foundation, which awards a real estate school scholarship to those who are pursuing a career in real estate.
