New listings fell flat during the 37th week of the year, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.
Realtors entered 2,964 new listings into the Multiple Listing Service during the week ended Sept. 18 — a 0.5% increase over last year’s volume.
Both pending and closed listings fell below 2022 levels during the week. A total of 1,936 properties went under contract, an 11.6% decline year over year, while 1,594 homes sold, an 8.4% decrease year over year.
Following trends seen throughout the summer, both traffic at showings and listing views on HAR.com increased annually.
